The Suffering - PlayStation 2

The Suffering is a PlayStation 2 horror FPS from Midway Games set inside a maximum security penitentiary overrun by grotesque creatures. Its prison-island escape story mixes brutal weapon combat, monster encounters, and player actions that lead to three different endings.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. The disc play surface is in nice condition.
• Fight through a prison and the surrounding island while uncovering the truth behind the supernatural outbreak.
• A full arsenal of brutal weapons supports first-person shooting and close-quarters survival horror action.
• The main character can transform into a hideous, powerful beast during combat.
• Monsters are themed around vicious executions, with creature design by Stan Winston Studios.
• DVD extras include The Making of: The Suffering, The Haunted Prison documentary, and a sneak peek of Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy.

The game ties its ending path to in-game actions, giving the horror campaign a morality-driven structure beyond straightforward escape. Its DVD extras connect it to Midway’s Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy through included preview content.
